The documentary Premiere will begin promptly at 8:00pm. We will continue our celebration with live music from the local we love to listen to: Matt Wahl!

Come join us for the first ever Red Carpet event in Long Beach about the amazing PEOPLE of LONG BEACH! Because we suffered Hurricane Sandy together we felt the need to step up when another community was ravaged by biblical amounts of flooding. Together we collected, organized and shipped over 5 - 53 foot Semi Trucks packed to the rafters with supplies, food, clothing, personal hygeiene, baby products, hardware, pet products and water. The Houston community recieved disaster relief from Long Beach in record time of 6 days. These items were essential to help people get back on their feet. In addition we collected over $43,000.00 in gift cards that the Waves of Hope U.S.A. team of 12 flew to Texas hand delivered to the small suffering beach community called Rockport, Texas where Hurricane Harvey made landfall. We made sure the survivors were the direct recipients of your donations with out any of the issues that can happen with large charities. Our team literally drove around Rockport searching for victims to give hope to by way of sharing your gift card donations. People all over Texas were touched by our generosity and our team recorded video and images of our journey. Long Beach's very own Christian Lesperance, who is a film editor for Nickelodean assisted by William Salice Bell captured and composited footage into a 24 minute documentary about how a Facebook post by Tim Kramer turned into a miracle disaster relief drive. Please join us for a walk down the red carpet to a private screening of WAVES OF HOPE, FROM LONG BEACH WITH LOVE as we celebrate the results of how a community came together to pay it forward! This documentary can only screened here until it eventually, hopefully premieres on cable television.
